Platy Death. HELP!

Re-stocked tank on Easter Sunday after something got out of whack and claimed a fish or two - now have the following in 30 gallon tank:
4 platies
5 zebra danio
3 black skirt tetra

1 platy bit the dust today :( - he was swimming upside down and then just gave up! There is one that I'm wondering if she is going to also go belly up tomorrow...

HELP! Nobody else looks distressed! I did a water test today - KH is low. How do I remedy that? I've not had this issue before!

Hello Allie, sorry to hear about your fish.

How long has your tank been set up for, and what are your readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?

he set the tank up 3 years ago (it's in his "tank(s)" thing). anyways, what i do when i have an unexplainable diseaese in my tank:
-change 20% of the water every day (or every other day)
-add 1 tbsp of aquarium salt for every five gallons
-raise the temp 2 degrees

usuall this will kill the pathogens or at least decrease the # by a lot (if there are any). I find this works quite well. you could try giving your fish a salt bath too. as to what it is, i dont know. If your amm, nitrates, nitrites are high, its prob that

all of the other readings are within normal ranges. last water change was last saturday - about 30% changed.
