Is my momma guppie stressed
I have a female guppy in my 5 gal tank, it is the tank that the other momma was in when she had her fry. The other female that was with her is pregnant also. I moved the the one out of the tank , and now the other one is swimming a lot, up and down the side of the tank. Should I put another female in with her? I don't want to stress her out. She did not act like this in the community tank. I have read a lot and I have never seen one or read about one acting this way. I did do a 25 percent water change the day after the fry from the other mommy was removed. (the fry are doing well in my nursery tank)
guess she is ok, I came in from work and we got more babies.... Thank you all *S*
normally when a fish is stressed u will see very very fast gill movement, a pale color not eating and not swimming around hiding all the time and laying on side, all signs of stress in fish that i know of.
