I fell in... love. =/

I just recently made a board about my cycling 30g (1 more week!!) and what stock to put in it:
15 cardinal tetras
1 clown pleco
2 sparkling gouramis
8 panda cories

I went to my LFS and they dont have any of that.
I'll have to order. :(

BUT while I was browsing a Discus caught my eye and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. SO SO SO purty!

So, would this be wise?
If so, what other fish will be okay?

Please help

I'd stick to the original plan.

marinebiologist21 03-24-2008 06:07 PM

Hmm, okay.
Any specific reason

Discus get rather large. 30g is nowhere near big eough I'm afraid.

marinebiologist21 03-24-2008 06:14 PM

Ah, okay.
I'm glad I didn't just buy.

But on a Discus info page they said 30g could fit one but it'd be the minimal.

The one there was just so cuute!

A 30g is fine for a breeding pair but no more than that.

marinebiologist21 03-24-2008 08:52 PM

Okay, so not just 1?
If I do buy a breeding pair, how many other fish can I get?
some cories?

I'm starting to lean towards the original plan but the Discus is on my mind a lot.

Why not go with your original plan and have the variety it would offer? Your tank would be severely limited if you had a discus. Booooring.

Okay.. how about another tank? :o
Uh-oh I have a case of Multiple Tank Syndrome comin' on..
