hi friends

today i caught some small fish for my aqurium... dono its name :lol:... can u identifly it..

caught at river near ma hometown.. (pondicherry, india)

Hmm, it's beautiful but I have no idea what it could be. I think it is a member of the rasbora family though.

guess i found it.. it is Rasbora paviana

I don't think so. The black side bar doesn't go through and colour the eye in that variety, it does on yours and the daniconius.

from the pics you have two fish. Once is certainly a rasbora. The other one at the surface looks to be a type of killifish or possibly a livebearer but I would lean more towards killifish with how rounded the tail is

the fish with rounded tail fin is soo tiny.. ive searched every in google but didnt helped to find out... thanks for ur reply mate :)

friends yesterday i went for fishing at the same river, but this time with a proper net.

Really Amazed to find dwarf gouramis in the river bank... shared these pictures in the link below.. but i couldnt find the name of other fishes apart from dourami...

identify if u can... i think these were mostly indigenous fishes...
i have named each photo with numbers.. 1 , 2 , 3 like tat....

The last three pictures are definitely a species of snakehead, which you probably wanna put back before your fish start disappearing lol.
