My waiting paid off!!

Hi everyone!

So for a while now I have been kinda bummed that my tank water was yellow from the large drift wood I put in it. Today I got an amazing surprise when I woke up to see my water was almost crystal clear. I did do a water change yesterday so I think that had a lot to do with it but I'm so happy.

Im happy everything is clearing up. Thank you everyone who kept me positive about it saying this awesome day would come!

Yay! Here you are cheering that your water is cleaning while I'm throwing in tons of leaves to get mine darker. Funny how the world works.
Also, is the wood.. Floating? Or attached to something? Looks like an odd position for it to sit.

It is floating haha. My lamp eyes and hatchet fish seem to like it better when its floating. They seem to swim around more. I also don't mind the pee color but I do like it clear lol.

The driftwood will sink in a while and the water will become lighter over time with water changes. I love the look of driftwood; however, I'm not crazy about the yellow / tea coloring it can give the water.

Yeah I'm not a fan of it, but for me as along as it doesn't harm the fish I'm fine with it.
