unidentified creature in tank
I have this damselfly nymph looking creature in my new set-up. Its jus under 1 inch long. Wonder if it can do any harm to the fishes.
I put up a small 45 gallon tank in which i put all of my small fishes (platies, guppies, dwarfs, honeys) and a lot of plants last month.
I only noticed 1 of those creatures. this is the clearest pic i have.
thanks for replying
i think he hitched a ride on your plants, and possibly
will eat any fry you may have in there,
they are more of an outside critter pond i think.
beautiful tank i forgot to say.
Looks like a dragonfly larva to me. And if so they can and will eat small fish.
think i'll leave it in if it doesn't cause any damage. Cant find it anymore anyway and even if i spot it, it will be hard to catch.
see what happens as it matures.
