angelfish breeding, do's and don'ts
 
I'm currently on day 8 and the fry are doing well, just wundered if it's necessary to remove the parents or is that sumthing people do just to raise more of the fry?? .... I wud like to leave the parents in there but I'm not sure

Any help, tips, advice or personal experiences wud come in handy :):):) cheers

It is very likely that the parents will eat the fry. I have a pair that spawn about 30 times. Only once were they able to raise a batch. And that was at the begining (their 5th batch). Everything else was meal: from eggs to 10 day free swimming. Everything is gone in few days.
I hear that even 2 week old free swimmer is not safe as long as it fits in his/her mouth. In my case, it is the male eating them as I witnessed several times.
