guppies and red neons
 

I just set up a 10 gallon tank and i got 8 guppies that 2 of them are pregnant and i was wandering if you can put red neons with them, or not can someone please help me

i wouldnt add any fish at all. :( you already have a fully stocked tank and you are about to have more! are you planning on putting the babies in a breeding net to keep them away from their parents or are you going to let them fend for themselves? and just so you know its not good to keep only 2 females with that many males. :oops: the males will harass them. i did this but i had 2 females and only 4-5 males and the males killed one of the females. :cry: just thought i would give you some advice for next time. :)

You can put red neons with them it will be fine. And since you already have 10 guppies in the 10 gallon and want to add some neons i wouldn't put the babies in a breeder net just let them fend for themselves. And if they make it then so be it haha but you don't want to over populate.

Your tank is plenty stocked, follow the 1 inch per gallon rule. Fancy guppies are 1.5-2 inches. 8x2=16. So that's an overstocked tank right there. I really wouldn't recommend adding any more fish.
