I got a new Clown Plec to replace my Common Plec.... Big shoes for a lil guy but he has the help of a Farlowella Cat (Clown Plec is to small [+-1 inch] to go in my 55 right now or he could end up as a throat cloging snack...
Re: New Plec
I had a dream shopping plecos last night again.
5 inch pictis has more then enough of a mouth and apetite to try it
he has ghost shrimp in the 10 gallon he is in now and might be joined by kuili loaches (i butchered the spelling) and/or the female beta in my 5 gallon.
for the loaches? if so i dont think im going to get them and im gona use that tank as my snail jail.
Moved my little guy to my 29 (i know its already overstocked) reasons :
No wood in 10 gallon
No heater (this tank hides heater and forgot heater busted when i stored it away after removing the fish in it)
and the 29 has alot more hides.
You should have posted this subject before purchasing a fish that's too small to survive in that tank.
It's like going to the grocery store hungry. a no-no
ok let me re explain this.
Bought the clown pleco and was growning it out in a 10 gallon for a 55 gallon.
I moved the beta from a 5 gallon to the ten gallon then moved the clown pleco to a 29 gallon now the plec is in my 55 gallon.
sry i explained it a lil confusing but i was never intending on keeping it in a 5 gallon nor that long in the 10 gallon. i did research for this speacies.
