help my pregnant guppie

:-?I have several guppies, at least 4 males and 6females, one of my females recently looked as though she was about to burst and the other fish were chasing her around, so I put her in the mesh breeding box. about 15mins later I noticed 3babies, fairly decent sized too! I waited another hour......and another hour.......no more babies !!! but she still has a very dark belly and is still looking like shes about to burst that was the day before yesterday. WHAT'S GOING ON??????

:-?!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-?

Sometimes female guppies take a while before they are able to give birth to all of the babies. Also, it is possible that only a few babies were ready to be born. often my females will get very big but only give birth to a few babies at a time. It is possible for females to have batches of eggs from multiple pregnancies at a time.

As long as she doesn't seem distressed I would say leave her in the breeding box for another day or so, and then put her back into the main tank whether or not she has finished having the babies.
