Help with new additions! D:
So in my 56 currently, it has been going through an ick cycle, and some other problems have taken out my neons. I am undergoing a process to fix everything and get it good again. So after it does, i was wondering about some new additions. Heres what i have in the tank currently :
6 Harlequin Rasboras
4 Diamond Tetras
2 Blue Platys
2 Dwarf Gouramis
1 Rainbow Shark
3 Banjo Cats( Never see, always having fun under the sand :p)
So here is a list of some options i was thinking of:
Harlequin Rasboras (More)
Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish
Rummy Nose Tetras
I know about the fish files and all of that, certain needs and such. I was just wondering about personal expierience and knowlege about the newly listed :P Plz and thanks
There is some non-compatibility in the proposed list, when added to the existing. First, there are fish with very different water parameter needs, and without knowing the params I can't offer more on this.
Tiger Barb is not a good choice with sedate fish, of which there are several.
The profiles explain this.
I think what i might do is go with more Harlequins, I love them and they are great schooling fish.
stay away from the tiger barbs, alot of posts on here about them and nipping fins and stressing other fish out and casuing disease.
