55 gallon done comments or concerns?

Heres all the info. This a walstad set-up capped with coarse sand.

Plants are mostly swords and low light plants such as anubias. Will be upgarding to a custom oak hood to match the custom made stand built by me and my pap(pics can be posted if you want them). Only fish are a gold gourami and an koi angel and veil angel. Letting the angels grow to move into my other tank with a large female. Not sure how they would do so they are in here for now.

Any suggestions?

depending how much of a high tech setup you want and if you plan on upgradeing your light i would make the canopy with fan powered venting. most t5 lighting gets pretty hot inside a canopy and you risk messing it up. some lights come with fans while most dont and rely on being in the open to dissapate the heat. i found all this out while shopping for a new light for my tank but something to take under consideration canopys arent the best for air flow or heat disssapation.

going to build a custom top for T8 light using a shoplight assembly from lowes.
