One last question!

Okay, so- cleaned my new 30 gallon, to be cycled.
Thanks to Lupin, I have settled on this stock:

15 Cardinal Tetras
8 Panda Cories
1 Clown Pleco
2 Sparkling Gouramis

Any objections?
Is everything- (temperatures, bioload, etc) ok?

Sounds like a nice tank.

marinebiologist21 03-14-2008 09:00 PM

Why thank you!

"Is anyone here a marine biologist!!!??"

[/costanza]

OT, good luck with the tank. A wise choice on the size of the shoal for the panda cories, they are so tiny it's almost scary so they will fit no problem. Too cute for words, honestly.

Hehehe!
I am so happy it will all work out.

Are you planning on putting any live plants in the tank? I hope you'll post some pictures when you have it set up, I'd love to see it. Remember to stock slowly once the tank has cycled though :)

marinebiologist21 03-15-2008 09:45 AM

I've never had live plants... which ones do you recommend?
I know snails often are attached- is this okay for my tank?
Indeed! I plan to add the Gouramis first, then Cories, then Cardinals, THEN Pleco.
Is that a good order?
It will take me 4 weeks to completely stock it like this.

EDIT: I'll also be sure to add some photos.
