Another lighting question
 

to any of you that remember me hi again! so ok i have resetup my tank but it has been so long i forgot so much. its all setup now bonestock freshwater with a few fish for the cycle. now im going planted of course need to know if Aquarium Lighting for Freshwater and Reef Systems: Nova Extreme Compact SLR T-5 Fixtures would be ok for a 55gal i want to get mod to high light plants in the tank. i would be using x2 of the 24in fixtures.

When you say two 24-inch, does this mean a total of 8 tubes? Since these are 4-tube fixtures. I think that is way too much light unless you are intending diffused CO2, and even then it would likely be too much. I think you would be better with 48-inch tubes, two T5 max.

hey there byron glad to see your still around, and im looking at the dual tube 24inch one. has two tubes per 24inch fixture. i will need 2 24inch fixtures to fit the top of my tank a 48inch fixture wont work die to my tank structure
