Flame Gourami with Wound

1 Attachment(s)
Hey all, it seems i have been making alot of posts lately xD The problem is my flame dwarf Gourami has injured im self while i was doing a water change/ vacuuming. I think he was accidentally hit by the vacuum. What can i do to help his wound heal back without infection and other problems? And how long will it probably take to heal? The wound is on the top of his head. He is my prized fish and i don't want anything happening to him...

I'm not an expert, but from what I could see I would say a little bit warmer, cleaner water (I'm not saing your tank isn't clean, but even cleaner water then normal is good). Some better pics would be nice

Alright, ill try to get a better pic posted, he just won't stop moving!! lol :-D I have been doing 20-30% water changes daily and should i raise the temp to 80-82? The tank is at 78 degrees right now.

Yeah, raising the temp would be good, but only one or two degrees because too much might stress the fish, also how long has he had it?

I first noticed it last night after i did a water change and gravel vac. i think he might have darted into the gravel or something else.

and how is he doing now? Is it fading?

He is more active than ever, he is still eating like a pig and defending his territory like a normal dwarf Gourami. He is still maintaining his bright colors. :-D

Good, I think with clean water and a little higher heating he should be fine, if anything else happens let me know:)
