Weird growth ID help.
Any ideas on what the growth is on th e end of the leaf?
Not an easy pic to take but can make it out.
Algae, likely staghorn, or perhaps another type.
The plant doesn't look too healthy in that photo... any issues there?
Plants actually ok. plenty of new growth etc. Diatoms on it....and my loaches like to munch on it too. Haha.
Hmm, staghorn? I'll look it up. Any tips?
You're sure that "brown" is diatoms? I'm thinking from the photo [may be wrong, not easy to see exactly] it is a green/red algae due to light too. I have this in my 90g for some reason.
Fairly/hope so. I got quite a bit using flourish, no doubt from over fertilizing, and new tank, which is steadily reducing. It also wipes off both plants and glass quite easily.
