Okay, so right now I'm just trying to figure out what to put in the tank as far as species of fish. I have a male betta that will be going in the tank so it has to be something that won't be eaten or won't attack my betta. I'm throwing around the idea of some corys, but would like something else as well for some variety. I've been told that cory's need to be kept in groups, so it would probably have to be another fish that does okay by itself so as to not over crowd my tank. Any suggestions on a nice group of fish would be loved.
They can be dirty but not more than a medium sized fish if they are fed a lot.
They don't "need" to get out of the water. They only need to if they lay eggs.
