What Would Be a Good South American Cichlid to Stick In.....
I have a 29 gallon im going to redoas soon as i get rid of the pleco and Yellow Lab and id like to stick a single decent looking fish in it... I like Green Terror's and Jack Dempsey's but they get to big. So what would u pick for this?[/u]
Re: What Would Be a Good South American Cichlid to Stick In.
ok i figured out what im gona do insted so... its either 29 gallon dwarf puffer tank... (i doubt to few decorations and on a budget)... or combining 2 similar 10 gallons into it and then DP's in one of the ten gallons.
I put 2 apistos in my 29, then added a couple more tetras (against my better judgement) and boom, the apistos spawned :O so far only once but talk about over stocked now lol I need to give away some apistos to the LFS so my ammonia doesnt keep going up... I only have 1 penguin 200 on there.
as for the rest, my glowlights, red eyes, and cories, they are entirely entertaining to watch.
id get a pair of firemouths personally.
oooh i like gage's suggestion better :D might get a bit tight, but if its just the 2 firemouths than that would be gorgeous!
Keyholes, Rams, any Apistos, Killifish are pretty or even a pair of Paradise fish. I'd go with a pair Apistos and some tetras.
