Anyone familiar with the fluval c4 HOB filter...

My filter seems to be getting clogged every few days. It has an indicator that pops up and let you know. Is their something that I'm doing wrong that could be causing this. I have a 55g that's fairly heavily planted and about 30 fish that are all small except for 4 mollies. I don't overfeed or anything. Starting to get annoyed with having to rinse the fiter pad in tank water every few days. This has only started happening in last couple of months . Nothing has changed with the tank over this time. The thing that's weird is the pad does not look overly dirty whatsoever and the indicator still pops up.

And how is the flow rate through the filter? - if the flow is still good, I'd ignore the indicator. BTW, even if the flow rate slows down a bit, filtration is still good or better than it is with a faster flow.

It seems fine even when indicator is up , but I don't to possibly have a mess on the floor .
