Another ID question.
I really don't like posting stuff like this since there are so many similar questions in the forums. I wonder if there is way for someone to consolidate them in a folder or pull the pics out and make one "comprehensive" id thread from User pics.
Or maybe there is and I missed it. (Oops)
On to my question... what is this in the tank? Small flat red circle with a circle of "rays " around it and a few stalks pointing out into the tank. Hasn't moved in the 24 hours since I first noticed it.
Please ignore the little spots on the glass...I need to clean it but I am not supposed to mess with the tanks right now sincd I am on immunosuppressants and I don't want to catch some fish bacteria infection or something.
Cant wait to see what they say but i am guessing rock anemone. But i am a newbie but wait for the experienced people to comment
Terribly hard to see from that shot. But, on a guess from your description, I'd say Ball Anemone (aka Strawberry Anemone)
ball anemone - Google Search
Good or bad?
Ah, well, to some they are bad, to some they are pretty. Me, I kinda like em myself, they add alittle color, and don't multiply like Aiptasia does.
Yep, that's exactly what it is. I will leave it. I don't have anything else in it. It adds a nice red with the purple.
