Aeration

hello, i have a tetra 5-15g whisper filter and was curious as to if id need to aerate it more.* The pump i have is rather noisy and hard to sleep with it on(its in my room).* I was probably going to have 2 male bettas and maybe a few other fish with a snail if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance

The 2 male battas in one tank isn't a good idea unless you have a divider. The fish will need Oxygen in the water so they can breath.

The air pump I have really doesn't make much noise just make sure the pump is sitting level and the sides aren't touching anything. An airstone helps too. If it's still too loud for you frequet water changes will put oxygen in the water.

Do you have a basement? I put my aeration pump in the basement, ran the air tubing up though the floor. I put air flow adjusters near the tank. I made sure I used a check valve on the line and put a drip loop in it just in case. Just a thought.
