Is this fish is ill ?? if it is then how can i cure him. it may happen if he eat more food as my pet shopkeeper told me to give a pinch of food Please help me soon I am so scare |
You added fish way to fast. How big is this tank? You need to let your tank cycle. This can take 3-12 weeks. The ammonia in your tank is buring your fish. |
Tank is 10g. So now tell what should i do ?? |
Could you show me a picture of this "Tiger Fish?" I would get all of the fish out. |
Cycling can be done with fish. You need to do a water change, 25% about 3 times week to prveent levels of ammonia and nitrites from becomeing toxic. Add dechlorinator every time you do a water change and your fish have a descent chance of surviving the cycle none the worse for wear. |
Thanks for such a nice quick reply from all of u. As i am using internet from my office. Tomorrow I will bring my all six fish picture so u can well help me more. :) I don't want to let my fish die. |
Alright, good. Are these Tiger Fish Tiger Barbs? I persoanlly would do a 10-20% change every day untill your levels die down. Thats what I did, and the cycle went by really fast. |

Good job. Your Tiger Fish are Tiger Barbs. One of my favorites. :) Once you are done cycling, I would get 2 or 3 more, because they can get very nippy in small groups. |
