A question on Mollies
Is it normal for (Creamsicle) Mollies to kind of shake, as in head and body moving side to side or make rapid movements? My female Molly has been doing this for a while and I'm a little concerned. And does anyone know if it's normal for Mollies to fin nip when they're new to each other? Thanks in advance.
Can you give a little more information? Water temp, age of the setup? Have you added aquarium salt to the tank? What are the pH, ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels?
Crazy, huh? You ask one question and I return by asking four. lol The information is needed to completely diagnose your problem, though.
If you don't have a liquid test kit, i wouldadvise that you invest in one. Results are much more accurate.
Fin nipping is a usual trait, they do this all the time. They get in a bad mood and decide that a section of the tank is theirs and any fish including their own kind enters the area, they will chase them and nip fins...
