Tetra Tanks :)
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know the outlines for 2 south american community biotopes. In my 38 gallon I'd have 1 twig cat, 5 pepper cory cats, 7 rummynose tetras, and 6 silver hatchetfish. Im my 20 gallon i'd have 1 clow pleco, 5 panda cory cats, and 7 cardinal tetras. Please respond with feedback. Thanks.
I would just up the groups for the rummys and hatchetfish. Both need more to be less stressed. I would not go below 12 for rummys, and 15 would be even better. The hatchets I would say 7-8; I have the Silver Hatchetfish, they are very social. Aside from this, looks fine.
Thanks Byron, the tank won't get too overcrowded with those additions though right?
see my post #38.
Of course, I assume regular weekly partial water changes and live plants, or if you intend it, a more authentic biotope. This is covered in the linked thread too.
Alright thanks, I just thought the rule was 1 gallon per inch of fish, but it would be awsome to add more fish.
