Tropical Fish Keeping - Aquarium fish care and resources

Just me, from the not so sunny at the moment California. Been keeping fish forever and on the pc forever, so thought why not combine the two? Glad ya'll are here though! Even though I've got tons of experience with certain kinds of fish, I am always open to learning more, and even revamping what I think I already know :)

I am a Jesus freak, and I am a jeeper even though I don't currently own a jeep (thats my sob story for another time) but I still love it. I am mommy to the most adorable and loud 4 yo princess. She makes me laugh most of the time but sheeesh how does those loud squeals come from such a cute lil thing? Not to mention the attitude I am getting...really? at 4? Started calling me 'mom' instead of 'momma' and I told her she is just not old enough to do that yet. I expect to be giving up my car keys with the 'mom' name. lol

So the other night I catch her putting the betta back into the tank. Of course I had to ask why he was out of the tank. She told me that he told her he wanted her to cuddle with him. I had fun trying to explain that fish just do not cuddle. Evidently her dog wanted to 'cuddle' with him too, and he ended up loosing most of his fins. It was a hard lesson for her to learn, but she got it, I hope.

Anyways, good to be here and let's see if old dogs can learn new tricks :)
