Hatching brine shrimp eggs, device I bought some brine shrimp eggs off Amazon, but I haven't opened the can to hatch any yet. I was considering the best method to do this, and I saw this product: Has anyone used it? Alternatively, does anyone know if it will work as an easy and clean way of hatching the eggs and then dumping them into the aquarium. It looks good to me, but I've never done it before. |
hi I made my own hatchery. If you have a jar and a air pump its quite easy. Drill 2 holes through the cap of the jar. One is an air escape, the other is a place for the air tubing. Put the tube through the one hole and attach the air stone. Add water and brine shrimp eggs, then add salt when instruction say, and 24 hours later at the lovely temp of 80F, voila, you have brine shrimp. Hope this helps :) |
How do you get it to the lovely temp of 80? :) Heater? |
