Obese, unbalance feeding
My question is this. I have a variety of fish in my tank, some platy, some molly, some red tail sword, gourami, tetras (neon)... some albino and regular barbs
but it seems like the platy are eating too much, they are always floating at the top and eating up all the fish food. :| Their diet is mostly those machined fish food (small pellets, COLOR: red and green).
I have to starve them for a bit while the others eat more, how should I go about doing this?
Any expert advice would be grateful.

Your other fish are probably fine unless they are looking skinny and lethargic.
I have platys but all of my fish come to the surface at feeding time and they all get their share of food. Platys do tend to hang out in the top portion of the tank and as for being fat, chances are they are always pregnant if you have even one male platy.
Typically, the platy fry become nom-noms for the rest of the tank.
If you are really worried about the other fish, stay at the tank and float some flakes near the other fish when they come to the surface.
