black tetra nipping
Hey everyone. I just wanted to tell you about a recent discovery. I just set up a 20 gallon tank for my son. We got our first fish yesterday. two Mollies, three Black Tetras, and three other type of tetras which i forgot the name. All was peaceful. We wake up this morning to find the Black Tetras fins nipped . They were nipping each other. Yesterday afternoon I purchased an eighteen inch flexible bubble tube for a twenty gallon tank. (recommended for a thirty gallon but that was all they had). So this morning I said let me try turning off the bubbles, and low and behold, they stopped nipping instantly! Bubble stress!
