Sad Day Soon (Possibly) I am going to be getting my cichlids this week and I have a little issue. I have about six starter fish in my cichlid tank which si a 37 gallon tank to get the cycle up and running. However I do have a 10 gallon tank which only has a severum. Yes I know he is going to be to big for my 10 gallon tank but I have no where to put him. I still want to keep him but I have a feeling that I will need to give him away soon because I will have six new fish coming over to my 10 gallon tank (my starter fish). THey six fish that will be coming over are thee bloodfin tetras and three other kind of tetras which are very small. I just do not want to overcrowd my ten gallon tank and have the fish die. |
Ideally, re-home your fish with a friend (so you can visit!). If you are in the US, Petco, at least in my area of the country, has a policy of "adopting" any fish brought in for donation. They won't give you store credit, but it is a potential outlet for fish you can no longer house. |
