My apple snails layed FIVE doffernt batches of eggs!
My fiance and I watched her lay one last night. She laid them all with in a few weeks. I think I might have to move the other snail...
If they hatch I might keep a few and a friend of mine wants some but I'm not sure what to do about the rest. Would anyone on here want some? I could post some pictures if anyone wants to see the eggs and parents.

They shouldn't hatch unless you have a male, but then again some snails have the ability to fertilize their own eggs. If you don't want them, scrap the egg sack off with a blade and throw in the trash.

i believe Apple Snails reproduce sexually. the thing about even sexually reproducing snails is that females can store sperm for MONTHS and lay tons of viable egg sacks that will become babies.

i have rabbit snails, and it all started with one female. now i have four, not counting the ten or twelve babies i sold last year. and rabbits only have ONE baby at a time! I haven't seen any itty bitty babies recently, so maybe she's done (until one of her male babies grows up), but yeah. i got her last march sooo.

you could totes be over run with baby snails! ;)

there were six batches, she laid another 2 nights ago and the have definitely been mating, I just seen them doing it.
And this morning one of that batches hatched!
There are like 50 but I'm not sure if they are still alive besides the 2 I see moving around because I had the sacs in a container floating at the top and it looked like they couldn't find their way out but I moved them to a jar with a plant.

Oh and there is probably going to be another batch in a day or 2 because they are mating right now.
