Help with GSP
Came home after being out awhile today and my Green Star Polyp is completely retracted. Its never done this before. It came with a piece of halimeda attached to it. While I noticed yesterday what I thought was possible algae of some sort, after explaining it to my lfs guy he pulled a piece if halimeda out and showed me that it's actually just their "footing. It looks like the "foooting is growing over the GSP. Below are some pictures. I know there not the best.
Pull the HAlameda out then. You can place it somehwere else, it won't care. Your GSP on the other hand, does.
OK, I'll get it off of there. Is it normal for it to take a month and a half to tick something off like that?
Just depends on the way it was hitting it. Then all of a sudden it got big enough to pick at just the right spot to mess with the thing. It happens.
Well, after some surgery and some glue work, my GSP is happy again. Took a couple days before it fully emerged but it now seems happy. I had to go pick up a small piece of rock to glue it too as the halimeda was holding it in its previous location.
Right on. Nice job.
