Fish species
 

Can any one tell me the species of this African cichlid

Its looking very much like a female peacock of some sort but without a clearer picture cannot really tell for sure.

Bout as clear as I could get

I was wondering bout this one as well sorry not tryin to b too needy these fish were givin to me and the owner did not know what they were besides cichlids

Top one is a Nimbochromis venustus female who is not quite mature yet.

Bottom one is a Pseudotropheus saulosi juvenile.

Thanks for the info I thought the same thing but this fish has stripes like a peacock the venustus has like blotches not stripes so I don't think it's that but I could be wrong.The second fish is not pseudotropheus either I have one of those in my tank, totally different looking fish the white fish has the same type of body and fins as the first fish I posted. Sorry not trying to b an ass hole just trying to find out what these fish really are and they very well could b a mixed breed.
