Adding more fish to the 30G
 

So I have my 30G and it currently has-

• 1 female betta
• 4 cory cats
• 2 female neon swordtails
• 1 sailfin molly (male)
• Some wild guppies (about a dozen or so)

I'd like to make a trip to the petstore and buy new fish, but what kind of suggestions do you guys have for kinds of fish? Morse cory cats and female bettas are on the list.

Would Gourami be OK to put in here? (how do you tell the difference between male and female?)
Or should I just go with more female bettas?

what type of gourami?

I didn't have a particular kind in mind. Do you have any suggestions?

Also, to note, the molly is no longer in the tank, he passed away this morning.

None, i have 2 neon blue dwarfs in mine which i really like, but im so tempted by the leopard gourami, just because of their colour and the general colour of the fish in my tank. But then again they look great as a stand out. These are a bred colour though. I also have 2 males in a 55gallon tall but also seriously considering changing one for a female, I'd lose a lot of colour - females are much blander generally - but it would be great to have a pair.

So are gourami a go or no go?

I'm going to the pet store on Monday and I'll make a list of fish that they have, post it on this site, and we can see what is compatible for my tank :)

Any other suggestions for fish to add to my tank?

Anyone? I really need a bit of advice on this one!

I like the gourami idea still, and I love mine because their quite docile and are never hidden

I was thinking of doing a 10-15 Gallon Gourami tank..

I went to the pet store today and decided on 3 platy and a zebra snail. Bought and brought home earlier today, heres some pics-
