They make a nice couple, should be some nice combinations for the fry and coloration. Did they have somewhere else to spawn instead of the power cord? I have seen a lot us slate for them to spawn on but you never know where they are gonna choose to do the deed. |
no.... it kind of caught me off guard. i thought they had a couple months before they would pair off. then they spawned on the cord. i had just rescaped the tank to so all the plants were trimmed back. i just bought a 29 gal for them and will get them slate. |

they ate them all witch isnt uncommon for the first couple times. |
