Asian Grass Shrimp
 
I brought home four large asian grass shrimp about a week ago from work and threw them into my 38 planted tank. To my surprise today, I looked at one of them and she had hundreds of green eggs underneath her legs! I've never actually bred shrimps before, so this will be a new and fun experience for me.

This is the best picture I could get; she wouldn't stand still!

You can see a blotch of green below her, those are the eggs.

Congrats, hopefully they will hatch and some with survive. I see oyu have some plants in there so they should have a chance anyway.

Keep us up to date if they do hatch and survive.

I have no doubt that they will hatch, but survive is another question. I have 28 hungry little cardinal mouths that might feed on most of them even with the lush forest that I have planted in there.
