Can you keep Ghost Shrimp with Corys?

As long as they are REAL Ghost Shrimp, they will do fine together. I've had the combo myself and they work well. The problem with Ghost Shrimp is that sometimes other species of shrimp are mistakenly sold as Ghost Shrimp. Do a google search and watch for pinchers and the marks that are mentioned. True Ghost Shrimp are fine with Corys, but the fakes might try to eat them!

I have kept them together with no problem. They have the common name Ghost shrimp/ Glass shrimp; these do not have large claws as suggested above. They are egg scatterers and will likely not be successful in reproducing in your tank. My Botia loved to eat them :-)

If you go with Cherry shrimp, they are live bearers and can be successful in a well planted tank with Corys around. I had a tank with floating hornwort and the colony tripled in a few months.

Yeah, Ghost Shrimp are COMPLETELY safe. It's just that some places sell Prawns or that one that starts with an M that looks like Ghost Shrimp but get much bigger and violent to smaller fish.

Yes they are completely safe, but as already stated you have to make sure that you are getting 100% real ghost shrimp. Good luck!
