Help! Gourami's and Rainbows.

Hi I have a 125 gallon fish tank. With a few gourami's and a few tetras. I'm really interested in the Rainbow fish. The freshwater fish with alot of pretty colors in them. Would they be okay with tiger barbs and gourami's in a 125? Thanks.

I'd stick with the smaller species. Melanotaenia praecox would be the best option. Males have red fins while females have yellow/orange fins.

I used to have 7 of them but all succumb to columnaris disease.:blueworry: Great fish and they have spawned in my community tank almost every night for about 2 months. None survived though but what can you expect when they spawn in a community tank?

i use hornwort for a spawning mop, well one day i took part of it out for my crayfish tank and a few days later i saw 5 little rainbows swimming around, still have two once i figured out they were too small for baby brine shrimp as a first food, infusoria works great though if you're wondering
