Can you repaint ornaments ?
i was wondering can you respray or hand paint old ornaments that have lost their colour but still in good nick ? as my ornaments are years old but not broken in anyway, is there a safe paint to use that is non toxic to fish, has any of you guys ever done this yourself, look forward to some replies, thank you .
MMM!!! Isuppose you could as long as the paint is non toxic plus it is not going to flake off.
I would advise though, once it dries properly to keep it underwater for about a week changing the water daily before placing it in your tank.
You can get non toxic paints from hobby shops,, but can't guarantee what chemicals there may be, hence the soaking method.
I'ts up to you, but the price of new ornaments might be cheaper than the paint.
