t5ho lights I have a quad t5ho light fixture for my 75 gal aquarium, it's obviously too much light for a low tech set up. So I'm only using half of the light (2 bulbs) which are 6500k day light bulbs that came with it. I was thinking that maybe I could add two different bulbs so I could use all four of the lights and maybe make the light a little bit more pleasing to the eye without pushing towards the Co2 injection area, or cause other problems. Talk to me people! |
Use 420-460nm lamps, you'll like that light setup. |
Sounds good, I guess I'll give it a try if I can find the right bulbs |
Pretty common lamp, you shoukd not have any troubles. |
I meant locally, T5 are slim pickings around here for some reason. None of the pet stores around here have 48" t5ho, lowes didn't have the right ones either. I'm hesitant to order bulbs through the mail. |
look at home depot or lowes? |
Yea, lowes didn't have the right bulbs, they had like 4k lights, a bunch of non HO bulbs, haven't checked home depot yet, it's in another town, and I haven't made it over there yet. |
