What is this lump on my fishes tail?

This bump on my white zebra danios tail started about 2 months ago and is slowly growing. I've tries parasite meds to no avail. He is otherwise well- active and eating. I'm not sure what it is, and need to check my water still but I haven't changed too much with the tank and this is an ongoing thing. The bump gets bigger and smaller (ranging from all white to sometimes bloody) over the course of days but has never fully gone away since I first noticed it. Overall it's getting worse.
Help!

Without knowing a bit more about your tank set up etc I wouldn't really be able to be accurate, but it is actually on the body of the fish than on the tail itself, don't really think it is a paracitical problem, more like an ulcer due to an injury, bite, etc that is not really clearing up, put the fish in a hospital tank and try an antibacterial/antibiotic treatment, treat him for a minimum of 7 days.
But send some details
Hope this helps
Ray
