Lighting Question
 

Hi , I was wondering, I have a eclipse Hood and what my question would be is if i replaced the bulbs in the hood with (2) Coral life 10.000K T-8 bulbs would that be suficiant for reef standards ?

Tank size?

i have a 75 gallon tank and it has a 50 watt lighting. is that enough or do i need more ? and do i really have to stay open 24/7 ? because i notice that when i turn the lights of the fish are sleeping but when i turn it on during 3am they woke up and start panicking. i usually turn the lights on at 6pm and turn it off 1am. sometimes i try lighting it during 3am whenever i'm not doing something and would just like to view the fish

I had the same Problem ,so i went out and bought a set of Lunar Lights, Nice set by Marina That solved my Problem. I Put them on a timer and they turn on 3 mins before the big one turns off,
