got a 10 gallon aquarium and its light is only 8 watts.

guys is it okay to have an 8 watts light and the color of the light is white cuz its fluorecent? i have corals and anemone on my tank.. so what i did is to put a desktop light on it and i think its another 10 watts of it so total of 18watts on a 10 gallon is it okay or not? the light also is a normal light a white fluorecent no colors or anything.

While I am far from knowledged about salt tanks and corals/ananome I can say that every one of them seems to have their own light requirements. I think it would be a very good idea to research which ones you have to see how much light they need to survive in the tank and what kind. If nothing else, post what types of corals and anenome you have so members can help you with what lighting they need.

Also, I know Actinic lighting is normally needed for salt tanks.
