LED or LCD
 

So im wanting to put some lights in my tank that i can put under the gravel. Like red and blue or ones that can change the color in my 55g piranha tank. Wondering if anyone has any experienxce with what kind of light would work with the fish. Also i want to put some in my 20g neon tetra tank.

Seems like that would be too stressful for whatever fish you have in there. Even light and brilliantly color gravels are shown to cause more stress in fish. I'd nix the idea...fish aren't toys.[/list]

If you want fancy colors, Try adding a few Moon Glow LEDs from above to simulate the moon.

so moon glow leds those would work from the top is that what your saying

Coralife makes 3/4 watt single led units, and 1 watt single LED Spotlights. both work well, though the 1 watt units are considerably brighter. I have a 1 watt spot mounted inside each of my 2 light housings on my 55. Works great.

could i bother you for a picture of uyyour light set up and specs as mine is for a 55 also
