New Aquarium
 

Hello everyone,

I am looking to get a bigger aquarium for christmas. I am looking to get a bigger aquarium than my 10 gallon aquarium that I currently have. I may get a 20 or 30 gallon aquarium. I want to get some bigger fish than the ones that I have but with a 10 gallon tank I cant put many big fish in it. What should I get with a 20 gallon tank or a 30 gallon tank?

Get the biggest you can handle/afford. I made that mistake when I first tried to get back into fish keeping. I broke out my old 20 gallon tank, set it up, had a few fish, and quickly realized I wanted bigger, so I bought a 40 long used, set it up, had a few fish, then realized I wanted a bigger tank, then bought a 75 gallon. I had all three tanks up and running in my living room at once. Finally broke down and tore them all down and am only using the 75 gallon now.... guess what, I still want a bigger tank!

haha that is probably going to be me. I am thinking about a 30 gallon tank but I also need to find an affordable stand tho...

When you say "big fish" exactly how big are you talking? Because not many big fish will be sufficient for a 20-30 gallon.
