Bloated, listless Platy
 

One of my platys is hanging out at the bottom & pretty still. His fins seem to be ok & he is not pregnant. He also appears a bit bloated and his breathing seems labored. He's upright and is not leaning to the side. The water parameters are normal (0 ni, 10 na, 0 am). The tank is a 30G breeder.

Any ideas? Maybe constipation? Btw, I'm out of aquarium salt.

His brother keeps hanging around him. It's depressing me :-(

I would recommend adding aquarium salt, and raise the temperature. Also try and feeding it some peas as those help with constipation.

Thanks for the input. He died later that night. Guess I'll never know why. :(
