astrea snail behavior
 

i have 4 of these guys in my 14g cube. one of them spends an awful lot of time on its back. i have righted him often. this morning, same thing. ten minutes later, on his back on the sand. i also have a half dozen tiny hermits. if i leave him in the tank and he kicks the bucket, will the crabs take care of him or will he foul up the water? should i just remove him and give him a burial at sea? :(

Leave him for the hermits, they will take care of it.
