bloated fish and scales falling off
i have neon tetras and platys and swordtails. one of the tetras got bloated and the scales looked kinda"freyed" or something. it stoped hanging with the group and then died. my platy is going through the same thing but is still alive and i dont know whats wrong. i have recently seen trumpet snails in my tank and i put my corys in there and they have it on the run but in case that was important. the ph is around 7. the temp is 79. and the water isnt to hard so i dont know what the problem is and we have a good emperor filter so i dont know whats going on. help would be apriciated.
Hi, sorry to hear you are having troubles. There is a fish disease that causes fish scales to pull away from the body but I am not knowledgeable in the disease area. Hoping others more experienced with chime in.
What size tank is it? Can you list exactly who all is in the tank, numbers of each? Thanks.
almost all the platys seem to be almost see though too! i dont know whats wrong.
