Schultz Aquatic Plant Soil
Is Schultz Aquatic Plant Soil Compatible with being in a tank? i would like to switch my gravel out with it.. I would like to know ur opinions on this as it says it is safe for fish and has a neutral pH... it also claims wont cloud water or clogg pump do u think its safe?
No. It is for potted pond plants and would make a big mess in your tanks.
alot of people use it their tanks..I don't like it though, its really light and I don't like the color of it.
If you want good plant substrate, just spend the $$ on Flourite or eco complete. I'm switching out all my tanks to Seachem Flourite Black Sand,it looks great in tanks with plants
Soilmaster, Turface is used by some too..another option if you dont want to spend the cash on Flourite,Eco Complete etc is here:
