New Family Members....
I have alot of animals.... ALOT. lol (one reason i cant get a tank bigger then 55 gallons right now...)

well i got 2 new family members the other day at the florida state fair (not by winning the gold fish bowl toss and getting feeder goldfish..)

1 was going toend up being a feeder though  but i saved him

they are 2 new rabbits both bucks (males) :
1 8 week old French Lop
1 Year old Thrianta

Ill post pics as soon as i can of them and both are show quality... except for the fact that the one (thrianta) pulled on his cage and gave himself a slight maliclusion (pardon my spelling) so he was going to end up as snake food for the 20ft long, 300 lb snake that was at the fair... but he was just to friendly couldnt let that happen...

(french lop is about 4 pounds thrianta is about 7 pounds) (lop get 20 pounds {payback time for my cats who go after the rabbits  )

Here are some pics of them now.
(Red one is the Thrianta White/Black is the French Lop)
The Thrianta still needs to be cleaned up but im waiting for him to start relaxing (he is also temporarily in a pet porter (plastic dog kenel)

Aaaaww. They're adorable. I can't imagine them ending up as snake food!

crazy4fish 02-20-2008 04:17 PM

i know. how could someone feed them to a snake?

bf2king 02-20-2008 09:04 PM

the red one was going to be snake food because they didnt have the room to keep him and no other breeders would take him due to his malaclusion (if thats the spelling lol) he cause himself to have... rabbits + pulling on the cage = teeth problems and because the other breeders thought it was genetic he was useless to them thus he would have been snake food (he is full of persenality and a pound or 2 bigger then he is suposed to be but is show quality cause he isnt fat its just his sheer size...)

the red one (thrianta) (his name is rusty) cost me $20

the broken (black and white french lop) cost me $50 ( his name is flopsie)

PS i might as well have an indoor zoo....
