Got these in yesterday from Florida Aquatic Nurseries and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on these plants. I've got soil, red clay, flourish composite, API liquid co2, and 48 watt 1x 10,000k and 1x 6500k bulb.

Eleocharis Articularis
Sagittaria Subulata

Is this for your 20 long?

The Tank should have enough light for both, but Hairgrass prefers a sandy substrate..

Both are good, fairly easy, plants. Dwarf sag is actually my favorite foreground plant... It can tolerate low light, and even grows floating.

Yes it's for the 20 gal. , Unfortunately I read somewhere DWG will carpet in gravel. Is it acceptable to put a sand layer on the foreground area specifically for the hairgrass?

different substrates will mix over time, no way to keep them separated without a barrier.
